Andrea Savage (born Andrea Kristen Savage on February 20, 1973) is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer whose career has spanned over two decades, earning her a reputation for sharp comedic timing and fearless creative pursuits. After graduating cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in government and a minor in law studies, she moved to Los Angeles and quickly became a regular performer with the famed Groundlings improv troupe, a launchpad that honed her improvisational skills and led to early television work such as the role of Brazilian exchange student Renata Vargas on Sweet Valley High. Savage’s breakout came with the mock‑documentary series Dog Bites Man (2006) and the cult favorite film Step Brothers (2008), where she played Denise opposite Will Ferrell, demonstrating a knack for both supporting and leading comedic roles.
