Alec Utgoff (Ukrainian: Олег Володимирович Утгоф; born 1 March 1986) is a British actor widely recognized for his roles across several films and television series. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, he moved to the UK during his childhood. Utgoff developed an interest in acting and pursued it academically at the esteemed Drama Centre London, earning both BA and MA degrees. His acting journey commenced with a part in 'The Tourist,' which he landed whilst still in his final academic year. Initially focused on theater, Utgoff performed an array of roles and is well-regarded as a classically trained actor. He is notably recognized for his role of Aleksandr Borovsky in 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' and Dr. Alexei in 'Stranger Things' season three. Moreover, some of his other prominent works include performances as Alexi in 'San Andreas' (2015), Dmitri in 'Mortdecai' (2015) and Yuri/Dimitri in 'The Wrong Mans' (2015).
