What Is This Action Lies About?
The premise of This Action Lies without spoilers.
Exploring the boundaries of perception, this film examines the act of observation and listening. It presents three perspectives on an object within an ambiguous space, all while guided by a skeptical and extended monologue. Serving as an apology and a defense of cinema itself, the project builds upon ideas from Kienitz Wilkins' earlier film, Indefinite Pitch, using voice to analyze a commonplace item and elevate it to a near-ideal form.
