What Is Tea Party About?
The premise of Tea Party without spoilers.
Mysteries swirl around Sisson’s family. He suspects something improper between his wife and her brother, questioning whether they are truly siblings. Although his doctor confirms perfect vision, Sisson feels his eyes are deceptive, so he has his secretary blindfold him with a chiffon scarf and then makes a pass at her. Even ordinary moments take on a sinister tone, and his two dead‑pan sons appear as eerie, ghost‑like figures. The film constantly asks whether a hidden conspiracy is manipulating Sisson.
