Sarah (Tiffany Shepis), a young American, travels to Italy to take vows at the austere “New Order” convent, where the rules are so severe they border on torture. Her initiation follows four brutal stages—hear, see, touch, and speak with the Lord—each exacting a heavy physical and mental toll. As she endures the rites, Sarah experiences haunting visions of the convent’s history, including Ninfa, a girl whose life was shattered by her fanatical, delusional grandfather Geremia. That same madness lingers within the convent’s walls today.
