In a heartfelt exploration of family relationships, Timmy Gleason, the estranged son of ex-con Ray Gleason, finds himself unexpectedly left in the care of his father when his aunt Kitty departs on her honeymoon with her new husband Wayne. As Timmy endeavors to rebuild his bond with Ray, he is met with a cocktail of indifference and distraction as Ray becomes engrossed in a rare-coin heist, plotting with his partners Bobby and Carl. The successful pull of their heist ignites Timmy’s ingenuity; he cleverly conceals the stolen coins from Ray’s associates and uses them to blackmail his father into spending quality time with him.
