What Is Crossing About?
The premise of Crossing without spoilers.
Yong‑soo, a former soccer player, lives in a coal‑mining village in North Korea with his wife and son Joon. Though impoverished, the family stays close and content. When his pregnant wife becomes critically ill and medicine is unavailable, Yong‑soo can’t even find food. Desperate, he crosses into China, hoping to obtain the drug that could save her.
