Spoilers ahead
Tes, Kara, and Dawn accept a seemingly straightforward job: intercept a double-cross drug shipment for their crime boss Mel at a remote diner. The plan unfolds in a near-deserted booth where Tes asserts herself as the leader, while Kara questions that authority and Dawn remains detached from the drama. The diner’s sparse clientele—a lone drifter and a couple at the far end—become the backdrop for a plan that hinges on timing, silence, and nerve. As the night stretches, the shipment’s lateness gnaws at their nerves, the clock creeping toward 3 AM, and Tes insists that there’s no way anything slips by the diner without the owner’s knowledge.
