Notably, he helped director Joel Schumacher on the films Tigerland, Bad Company, and Phone Booth. He rose to prominence with The Golden Tux, a script he co-wrote with Todd Phillips. This script caught the attention of Vince Vaughn, leading to his involvement in the co-writing and co-producing of The Break-Up. His career further elevated when he worked on an uncredited re-write of The Hangover, a critical and commercial success grossing over $465 million at the box office. He made a significant mark in industry when he directed and produced The Wedding Ringer, a film adaptation of his previous script, The Golden Tux. Despite negative reviews, the film succeeded in box office. In 2018, he showcased his talent further by co-creating, directing, writing, and producing Best. Worst. Weekend.
