Mario Casas Sierra is recognized for his remarkable performances in Spanish film and television. Born on 12 June 1986, Casas gained fame through his various roles in Spanish cinema, earning numerous accolades, including a Goya Award, a Gaudí Award, and three Feroz Awards. His acting career started in 2005 with minor appearances in Motivos personales and Obsesión, but ultimately landed his first major television role in the teen drama SMS: Sin Miedo a Soñar. Casas's fame grew significantly due to his role in the television series Los hombres de Paco, which was highly popular. His early film career was marked by appearances in successful movies like Sex, Party and Lies (2009), Brain Drain (2009), and Three Steps Above Heaven (2010). Casas continued to star in films such as Unit 7 (2012), I Want You (2012; the successor to Three Steps Above Heaven), and The Mule (2013).
