Jason Winston George

Jason Winston George, born on February 9, 1972, is a versatile American actor who has marked his presence in various popular shows and movies. He made his acting debut in 1997 and is known best for his comprehensive roles in TV series such as the NBC daytime soap opera Sunset Beach, UPN television sitcom Eve, ABC's Off the Map, Grey's Anatomy and its spin-off Station 19. Jason was born and brought up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He pursued his graduation from the University of Virginia in 1994, with a double major in Rhetoric and Communication Studies and Drama. The year 1996 was a breakthrough for Jason, when he was cast as a lifeguard Michael Bourne on the soap opera Sunset Beach and he remained on the show until it ended in 1999. He not only has done TV series but also showed his acting prowess in films directed by renowned directors. He is known for his role in Clockstoppers, a film directed by Jonathan Frakes. Jason not only limited himself to acting in TV series and films but also made a successful stage appearance in Rita Dove's drama - The Darker Face of the Earth in Los Angeles. His acting career continues to flourish as he currently stars in Grey's Anatomy as Dr Ben Warren.
