Christopher Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, born on April 2, 1961, is an acclaimed American actor recognized prominently for his televsion roles. He is often remembered for portraying NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on the NBC legal drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999–2011, 2021–present) and its spin-off Organized Crime (2021–present), earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for it. Meloni's talent isn't restricted to cop dramas; he displayed his range in the HBO prison drama Oz (1998–2003) as Chris Keller and in the quirky Syfy series Happy! (2017–2019), where he thrilled audiences as an unconventional protagonist and also served as an executive producer.
