What's After the Movie
Benjamin Christopher Flores Jr., born on July 24, 2002 in Memphis, Tennessee, is an American actor and rapper who rose to prominence at a remarkably young age. His early exposure to the entertainment industry began when he was just seven years old, after a local Fox 13 interview highlighted his charismatic personality and natural rap talent. This breakthrough led to a nationally televised performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he debuted his single “You Might Be the One for Me” under the moniker Lil’ P‑Nut, instantly capturing a youthful audience. By 2008 he had already begun recording music and appearing in television spots, cementing his dual‑career path that would span both music and acting. Flores transitioned smoothly into acting, securing a guest role on the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet? and lending his voice to the rapping penguin Atticus in the animated sequel Happy Feet 2 (2011). His film debut continued with a cameo in Yo Gotti’s “Look In The Mirror” music video and a supporting part in Ride Along (2014). The turning point in his television career arrived in 2013 when Nickelodeon cast him as Louie Preston, the mischievous ghost in The Haunted Hathaways, a role that earned him consecutive nominations for Favorite TV Actor at the Kids’ Choice Awards in 2014 and 2015. In 2015 he joined Dan Schneider’s Game Shakers as Triple G, the son of fictional rap mogul Double G, a character that showcased his comedic timing and further solidified his standing within teen‑oriented programming. Expanding into voice work, Flores took over the role of Gerald Johanssen for Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie (2016) and later appeared in blockbuster productions such as Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) and Netflix’s Rim of the World (2019). Most recently, he portrayed Josh in the Fear Street trilogy (2021) and appeared as Eugene Jones in Showtime’s critically acclaimed drama Your Honor (2020‑2021). Throughout his career, Flores has demonstrated a versatile talent that bridges music, animation, comedy, and dramatic storytelling, making him a distinctive presence in contemporary entertainment.
