Antje Traue

Antje Traue is a prolific German actress who started her career in performing arts at the age of sixteen. Born on 18 January 1981, she trained as an artistic gymnast from a young age before moving into acting. Traue made her screen debut in 2000 with the German film Verlorene Kinder. Her international acclaim extended in 2009 when she featured in the English-language film Pandorum. Traue earned recognition for her portrayal of the villain, Faora-Ul in the DC Extended Universe films Man of Steel (2013) and The Flash (2023). She has also appeared in the popular German Netflix series Dark as Agnes Nielsen.
