Alexander Kuznetsov (June 15, 1959 – December 6, 2019) was a Russian‑American actor whose career spanned three decades and bridged the cinematic cultures of the former Soviet Union and the United States. Born in Moscow during the Soviet era, he honed his craft at the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre School, where he absorbed the Stanislavski method and began performing on stage in the late 1970s.
