Aino Taube (Aino Regina Taube, 11 July 1912 – 3 June 1990) was a distinguished Swedish film and theatre actress whose career spanned nearly six decades, making a lasting imprint on Scandinavian performing arts. Born in Espergærde, Denmark, she was the daughter of Mathias Taube and Ella Ekman‑Hansen, a culturally attuned family that nurtured her early love for the stage, and she soon moved to Sweden where she embraced her Swedish nationality. Her debut on the silver screen came in 1931 with Skipper's Love, launching an impressive filmography of fifty titles that ranged from light‑hearted comedies such as Kanske en gentleman (1935) to stirring dramas like The Touch (1971).
