Agam Darshi

Agamdeep Darshi, popularly known as **Agam Darshi**, is a British-Canadian actress. Born on December 23, 1987, in Birmingham, England to Sikh parents of Indian Punjabi descent, she emigrated to Canada at a young age. Agam spent her childhood in Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver before relocating to Calgary, Alberta at 14 which eventually led her to pursue an acting career. She studied theatre and fine arts at the University of Calgary and earned a degree in photography. Agam has appeared in over twenty-five television shows and more than a dozen films. She is most recognized for her roles in **Tru Calling**, **Dead Zone**, **The L-Word**, and as Laura in the horror film **Final Destination 3**. She also had a recurring role in the Canadian teen-drama television series renegadepress.com and was a main cast member in the television series Sanctuary from 2009 to 2011. In 2013, she won Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Motion Picture at the Leo Awards for her role in Crimes of Mike Recket. Beyond acting, Agam is also involved with film production, direction, writing, and playwriting. She is also a graphic designer and an artist. Alongside fellow South Asian actress Patricia Isaac, she co-founded VISAFF, Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival. She also made her directorial debut with **Donkeyhead**, in which she played the lead character.
